Admissions Process

Thank you for your consideration of Columbus Classical Academy. We invite you to begin the application process as outlined below. If at any time you need assistance or have a question, please email the Office of Admissions at [email protected].

STEP 1
Apply

Please use this link to begin your online application:

STEP 2
Review

Upon completion and submission of your application, you will receive an email notifying you that your application has been received and is currently under review by our admissions team. You will also be asked to attend an information session with our Head of School if you have not done so already.

STEP 3
Interview

A member of our admissions team will contact you to schedule your family interview. During the interview, you and your prospective scholar(s) will meet with our Head of School and Principal. Kindergarten screenings take place during this time.

STEP 4
Decision

Following the family interview, an admissions decision will be made. If admitted, an email will be sent with information to complete the enrollment process. (Admissions decisions are made on a rolling basis as applications are received giving priority to currently enrolled families.)

STEP 5
Enroll

Additional information is completed, and a non-refundable deposit will be submitted to secure your enrollment(s). If your child’s class reaches capacity between receipt of the notice of admission and submission of your child’s enrollment deposit, the deposit will be refunded, and the student will be placed on the class waitlist. The following documents are required to complete the enrollment:

  • Copy of birth certificate
  • Immunization records or Letter of Exemption

STEP 6
Attend

Prior to the start of the academic year, welcome packets will be mailed to all families enrolled at our school. The welcome packets contain valuable information to ease the transition to CCA. The following documentation must be completed and returned to the school on or before the first day:

  • Health questionnaire and Medication Permission Form (if applicable)
  • Emergency Contact form (one per family)
  • Student Parking Permit form (when applicable)
  • Signature page of CCA’s Honor Code (one per student)
  • Family Handbook acknowledgement (one per family)
