Visit Our School
Choosing the right school for your family is a significant decision. We recognize that it involves time, thorough research, and thoughtful consideration to find the best fit. To support you in this process, Columbus Classical Academy provides several opportunities for families to learn more about our school.
We offer weekly School Day Visits, Individual Tours, monthly Classics and Conversation events, semi-annual Open Houses, and Patriot for a Day student shadow days. We encourage you to attend and learn more about classical education.
Select Saturdays, 11:00 – 2:00pm
Our Open House events allow prospective parents and students extended time to visit classrooms and get to know our teachers, staff, administration, and students. Unlike the campus tour, our Open House is more individualized and allows one-on-one time with teachers and students for you to ask questions about classical education at Columbus Classical Academy.
In addition, during each Open House, we will offer an introductory information session with Mr. Gibson, our head of school, at 11am and 1:30pm, for families who have not already attended a School Day Visit or Classics and Conversation event.
School Day Visit - Group Tour
Tuesdays, 7:50 – 9:30am
During School Day Visits, we welcome visitors who would like to observe CCA in action. Registered visitors will attend morning assembly, meet with our Head of School and receive a presentation on classical education, tour our campus, and observe classrooms.
Registration is required, and visitors must arrive and sign in at the main office not later than 7:50am to attend morning assembly.
Individual Tours (Abbreviated Visit)
Schedule a visit to CCA for just your family. You’ll be led on a brief tour of campus by our Director of Admissions. We will cover standard information, or you can spend the time asking all of your most important questions. Space is limited.
Patriot for a Day
Allow your child to experience CCA as they shadow a current scholar for the day.
Becoming a Patriot for a day allows your child to encounter the school community and better help determine if CCA is the right fit for your family. To register your child for Patriot for a Day, email [email protected].
We require all families to attend a School Day Visit or Classics and Conversation event prior to registering their child for a Patriot for a Day. (Currently available for children in grades 1-9.)
One Wednesday per month, 6:00 – 7:30pm
Join us for a small group information session and tour of our campus during our popular evening events. Registered visitors will meet with our Head of School for a small group information session, ask questions during Q&A, as well as receive a tour of our school.
